Amid the hurried bustle and cacophony of voices echoing through Nisalvini’s white high-rises, Dimitris’ thunderous sigh rose above them all as he stopped abruptly to display his annoyance for all the market to see and hear. None in his audience was more exasperated, however, than Anya, who turned to him with a narrowed glare she showed few others—and better for them, perhaps, that her temperament was usually mild, for she had little trouble in pinning him down with that frosty gaze. “Brother, this is the 23rd time today. Will you not cease your tantrum?” Anya was incapable of shouting, rendering her words perpetually soft, but he winced at her unusually prickly tone.

“I’m afraid my frustration cannot be contained in my body alone, fine one it is.” In laying his forearm onto Luca’s great head, Dimitris was rewarded with a low rumble and a hard slap at the back of his head. Yelping in surprise, he glowered at the softly flicking tail curling behind his back and fought back the urge to pull it, turning once more to meet his sister’s eyes squarely. “I appreciate you tagging along with your poor brother, but do keep in mind that I am of the foulest of moods now and that not even you, dear Anya, can stop me from sighing until my last breath.”

“…That would be the most shameful death in all history, Dimitris.” So said she, but the gentle pulling of her lips betrayed the girl. He thanked his mother for her gift of mirth; too bad it didn’t work on his father. Laying the satchel of books down at his feet, Dimitris laid his head on Luca’s soft fur and gave one final, tired groan—of which turned into a high-pitched scream as the cat began pawing at his feet, claws unsheathed.</sub>

in which luca displays how big a bully he is ANYHOW MADE IT IN TIME BEFORE EVENT ENDED TIRED FIST PUMP…anya pap was supposed to go to nisalvini to aid some acquaintances in their research but got held back by courtly matters, so plan b involved sending his son as a representative with notes/findings—cept he’s meant to stay there for anywhere up to a month riprip Dimitris _{best disciplinary measures by anya pap don’t do like him} anya, partially out of empathy for big bro and partially bc she wanted to help in the effort, decided to tag along and stay with him for as long as he’s stuck there, sibling solidarity YAAAAA
